Founded in 2020, Engrom is a group of South African companies established to provide a range of multi-disciplinary services and products in the Engineering and Built Environment. The Group’s capabilities include project management, engineering design, construction, and operations & maintenance (O&M) through all lifecycle stages of Infrastructure Development projects, across a wide range of sectors.

The Group comprises of professional services arm, Engrom Engineering (Pty) Ltd (Registration No: 2020/476211/07), and our construction services company, Engrom Construction (Pty) Ltd (Registration No: 2020/476251/07).
Engrom Engineering (Pty) Ltd (Reg. No: 2020/476211/07) is the consulting arm of the Engrom Group. It provides professional engineering and project management services.

The Engrom Engineering team offers an extensive range of skilled engineers practicing in structural, civil, architectural, geotechnical, transportation and hydraulic engineering. The team also includes engineering project managers, contracts managers and quantity surveyors, for design and construction projects.

Our team is capable of providing services anywhere in South Africa and beyond the international borders.

Engrom Construction (Pty) Ltd (Reg. No: 2020/476251/07) is the contractor of the Engrom Group. It provides construction services in Middelburg (EC), Cradock and Noupoort. We can also provide construction services in Port Elizabeth, East London and the greater Eastern Cape province..

Our professional construction team offers a wealth of experience in all aspects of construction, The team comprises construction managers, site agents, foreman for various disciplines, as well as skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled labour.

Our construction company is registered with the Construction Industry Development Board (Grade 1CE, 1GB), CIDB, NHBRC,, Building Industry Bargaining Council (BIBC), BCCEI and the Compensation Fund (CF).

Innovative Building Technologies
We specialize in the development of Innovative Building Technologies (IBTs), offering solutions in the affordable housing and green building sectors. IBTs promote environmentally sustainable engineering solutions, while providing significant cost savings during both construction and operational phases of building projects. In addition, they also offer high performance in terms of comfort, durability, flexibility and efficiency.

Our specialist team can provide building solutions using established IBTs, certified by Agrément South Africa (ASA), or uniquely tailored project-specific solutions using a rational design approach. For IBT services, the Group companies come together to form a one-stop shop, with Engrom Engineering providing the design services while Engrom Construction provides the construction services.

Further, our IBT team offers Research & Development services to develop, test and certify (by Agrément South Africa) new building technologies for our clients.

In partnership with, NES Consulting, we offer the Recycled Insulated Concrete (RIC) System. This is an IBT that can either be prefabricated or cast-in-situ. This IBT can be using for various building element including wall systems, flooring, roofs, stairways and various housing accessories.
